Dr. Megan Greiner

Dr. Megan Greiner was born and raised in Columbia, SC. She attended Satchel Ford, Crayton, and A.C. Flora. She obtained her B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Science from Clemson University in 2007 and her DVM from Tuskegee University in 2011. While attending veterinary school, she worked at Gregg Animal Hospital as an assistant. She also volunteered at an elephant refuge in Thailand and a spay/neuter clinic in Nicaragua. She completed a year long small animal rotating internship at Animal Hospital Specialty Center in Highlands Ranch, CO where she then worked as an overnight emergency veterinarian. She has since moved back to South Carolina and has been working in general practice for the last four years at Port Royal Veterinary Hospital in the Lowcountry. She is so excited to have recently moved back to her hometown!

Dr. Greiner's interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, and endocrinology. She loves building a relationship with clients and educating on preventative medicine. Dr. Greiner enjoys kayaking, camping, skiing, watching Clemson football, and playing the guitar and ukulele. Her husband Tyler works for the SC Forestry Commission. All of their pets are rescues: a Border Collie mix named Guster and cat named Maggie May both were adopted with broken left forelimbs; a Pit Bull mix named Peyton, and a kitten named Khal Drogo.
